Draft for review

This text is a starting point written for the MVP. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be checked before Planitory takes real payments.

These terms apply when you use Planitory: browsing, creating an account, buying guides, and creating, sharing or selling maps, itineraries, tips, bundles and consultations (“guides”).

1. Your account

  • You need an account to save, buy, review, create or sell. One account can do all of these.
  • Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (in most countries, 18).
  • We may restrict or close accounts that break these terms or the creator guidelines.

2. How the marketplace works

Guides are created and sold by their creators. Planitory provides the platform, takes payments on the creator's behalf and pays creators their share. Creators are responsible for their content, including its accuracy. Places change, close and move: check opening times, safety and local rules before you go.

3. Buying guides

  • Prices are set by creators and shown in euros at checkout.
  • You get access only after your payment is confirmed. Failed, cancelled or pending payments do not give access.
  • A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the guide for your own travel. Don't share, resell or republish it.
  • Guides are digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once access starts. This does not affect your rights if a guide is faulty or not as described.
  • You keep access when a creator archives a guide. If we remove a guide for legal or safety reasons, we refund buyers.

4. Creating and selling

  • You keep ownership of what you create. You give Planitory a licence to host, display, adapt for different screens, and sell your guides on the platform.
  • You confirm that you have the rights to all text and photos you upload, and that your content follows the creator guidelines.
  • For paid guides, Planitory keeps a commission on each sale and charges a one-time fee when a paid guide is first published. Current rates are on the pricing page; we'll give notice before changing them.
  • Earnings are held for 14 days after a sale before they can be paid out. Refunded sales are deducted.
  • Payouts are made through our payment provider to an account in your name. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

5. Private consultations

When you buy a consultation, the creator agrees to deliver a personal plan within the delivery time shown on the listing. If the creator doesn't deliver, contact us for a refund.

6. What isn't allowed

  • Content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, sexual, or that puts people or places at risk.
  • Fake reviews, reviewing your own guides, or paying for reviews.
  • Copying other people's guides, text or photos without permission.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering or disrupting the service.

7. Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a guide or profile. We review reports and may hide content, remove guides, refund buyers or restrict accounts. We'll tell you why when we act on your content, unless the law prevents it.

8. Liability

We work to keep Planitory available and accurate, but we can't guarantee that every place in every guide is correct or open. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.

10. Contact
